Art and Communities course - Connection people through creative activities

Do you want to use your arts practice in community settings? Have you ever wondered how to carry out meaningful creative engagement with communities? Are you a new arts graduate looking to work with local Guildford communities? Or maybe you’ve got an idea for a participatory arts project but don’t know where to start?

This new two-day course is for artists and creative practitioners who wish to start working with local communities through the arts.

Arts and Communities is for people who have little or no experience of working as an artist in community settings and are looking to develop skills to run successful community arts projects. It will also be a great opportunity to meet other local artists interested in community arts practice. The course is open to artists working in all art forms from visual arts to drama, dance to new media, music to photography.
